Kenneth Boyd was working as an EMT in 1993 when he decided to change gears and enter the field of donation and transplantation as a clinical recovery associate.
Through the decades, Kenneth has taken on several leadership roles within the organization in the Clinical Recovery, Family Services and Hospital Services and Professional Education departments.
Kenneth has contributed to the industry by serving on multiple committees and councils including leadership positions on the Association of Multicultural Affairs in Transplantation (AMAT) Board of Directors, the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) Minority Affairs Committee, the National Leadership team for the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) DoNation Workplace Partnership program initiative and the Association of Organ Procurement Organization (AOPO) Hospital Development Council.
Kenneth has also been involved in several donation initiatives including The Study of Presumptive Approach to Organ Donation, University of Penn 2006. He served as faculty for HRSA’s 7th National Learning Congress and is a frequent contributor and presenter at local and national healthcare events.
Kenneth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Healthcare Administration and a Graduate certificate in Organizational Development from the University of Maryland.
