Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Scott Hartranft is an innovative leader with demonstrated success managing the finance, accounting and operations of complex for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. He is a trusted leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and a proven record of leading professionals to excellence.

Prior to joining Infinite Legacy, Scott served as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Southeastern Universities Research Association (SURA), where he provided financial leadership and expertise through partnerships with all areas of the organization. His specific focus was growing program revenues, reducing expenses, safeguarding assets and improving the long-term financial sustainability of the organization.

Previously, Scott served as the interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB), as well as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer for the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), an organization dedicated to improving the quality of healthcare. 

While at NCQA, Scott led the design and execution of financial management strategies that strengthened the overall financial position of this 501(c)(3) organization. He provided financial management advice and counsel that improved the operation. Scott oversaw strategic human resource planning and delivery to ensure that the proper culture and systems were in place to appropriately recruit, develop and retain high caliber staff based on the company’s needs and resources.

Scott holds an active CPA license in the State of Maryland and earned his MBA from Loyola University in Maryland.
