Clint Burns
Donation Supporter
Transplant Recipient - Organ
Clint Burns was born with a rare liver condition which developed into a terminal illness with no chance to live, work, or raise a family without the gift of organ donation. At the age of 24 he was placed on the waiting list at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, and at age 25 received a liver transplant. “Donation and transplantation were my only hope,” he says, recalling his transplant back in June 1994. Nineteen grateful years later, Clint lives across from the farm house where he grew up and is married with four children – all boys! Without his transplant, none of this would have been possible. Clint has been working at The Johns Hopkins Hospital as an RN for 14 years, four of those being with The Living Legacy Foundation as the In House Coordinator for The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. “I oversee the donation process, I’m so honored to work with such incredible donor families. I owe everything to Paul my donor and my donor family, Linda, Kim, and Curtney.”
