On July 12, 2016, my life changed forever. I got the call that after being on dialysis for two years I was a back up for kidney at Barnes in STL. On July 13, 2016, I got my second chance at life. Thanks to my donors chose to donate I have watched my children grow up. My son now has a daughter; I have seen my first grandbaby be born. My oldest daughter is due in Jan 2023 with my second grandbaby and my youngest just turned 17 and is no longer in school. Without my donors gift I wouldn’t be here today.
