Ceremony of Remembrance
We host our Ceremony of Remembrance every year to honor our heroic donors and their families. These individuals make our lifesaving mission possible through organ, eye and tissue donation.
At our Ceremony of Remembrance, you can expect:
- A tribute to our donor heroes
- A live choir performance
- Impactful stories from transplant recipients
- A memorial slideshow to honor donors’ lives and legacies
- A children’s craft presentation
- Memorial Quilt displays
If you are a donor family in Maryland, Northern Virginia or Washington, DC, we hope you join us for our Annual Ceremony of Remembrance. We encourage all donor families to share photos of their loved ones so we can honor their legacies during a memorial slideshow.
